It is the first of July, The Beginning of a new month, and the Beginning of a new Blog.
The First Of July Has a special significance in My Fambly, because this marks the beginning of the Fifth year of our Residence in Monteagle, TN. We moved here on July 1st exactly Four Years ago, when Becca's term as Airport Manager began. If you are going to move to a small town, I suggest doing it immediately prior to the 4th of July, because Small-Town America puts on its best face for the 4th. New York's St. Patrick's Day parade, The Rose Bowl parade, Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, not even Mardi Gras in N'awlins (<--That's "New Orleans", for the phonetically impaired) can hold a candle to the simple pleasure of a small town's 4th of July parade. About 1/3 of the population is in the parade, (Everybody who owns a horse, go-cart, ATV, Vintage Car, Snazzy Convertible, or Flat-bed trailer) and the other 2/3 are lining the streets, waiting for the Candy Storm that is about to ensue.
So, as we start our fifth year of living in the Boonies, and The fifth year of Becca's Management Career, I start the First year of The Daily Blog of the Day at Blogspot.com . I made a resolution for this Month that I would post something to the ol' Blogosphere every day, whether I had anything to say or Not! You know, like the Cable News Channels do. (Breaking News! Cat gets rolled up in Carpet!! it's a CAT-astrophe! Back to you, Meredith.) I have been posting wonderful, insightful info-tainment to my MySpace readers (BOTH of them!) for the last week, but as I complained to myself that no-one was responding to my posts, even when I posited the most controversial question I could think of, I realized that MySpace is too congested and spam-laden, and quite a lot of people wouldn't want to have anything to do with it for a number of very good reasons. (Yeah, I'm talking to you, Elliott!) So, I am Moving from MySpace to blogspot (Google) on the anniversary of my move from Murfreesboro to Monteagle.

Subscribe? You can't subscribe to blogspot.
I was (am still) subscribed to your myspace blog so it conveniently tells me about your ramblings there whenever you so happen to ramble.
But no, you're too good for that.
I doubt I will remember to check this one as there are no convinient reminders or alerts to do so.
I'm just sayin'
Aha, Dear brother, but you CAN subscribe... But thank you for pointing out that the method is not obvious, like it is over at MySpace. I will do a special post to let people know how.
