How To Tell If You Are Smart.

If you get this joke, congratulations! You are smart! If you don't get it, don't worry; you are probably just average. If you were stupid, you wouldn't be reading my blog. Stupid people don't read my blog.

I like the one that says "This car brakes for Schroedinger's Cat". No one gets that one either.

So lemmie get this straight...if you brake for the cat, then all possibilities collapse to ensure there IS in fact a live cat to brake for after all? Or, if we simply swerve to avoid the box, then perhaps no cat's lives were really saved? Art, prompted by your comment, I looked at Wikipedia and discovered Schroedinger was being facetious. I'm so glad to know that!

Could there not arise a hypothetical state in which Schroedinger was being simultaneously facetious and serious??? ;)

Ooooh. Good point.

Oh, and since we're on the topic, when you're kinda' kidding, but you're kinda not kidding, you're "kidding on the square". The term was invented by Al Franken, and it's a darn good one, too!

I've never heard "kidding on the square" (though I think I do it quite a bit)...
